Fiscal Support Agreement signed for the Tata Dholera fab under the India Semiconductor Mission

The Fiscal Support Agreement for the Tata Electronics-PSMC fab at Dholera was signed on 5 March 2025, with the PIB documentation citing Rs 91,526 crore of project cost under the India Semiconductor Mission, which covers half of eligible cost.

The FSA converts the February 2024 cabinet approval into a binding subsidy framework, the administrative step at which large projects become funded rather than announced.
