This page tracks the decisions taken by the Gujarat government and the central government that change what Dholera costs, who pays for it, and what may be built there. Policy moves are slower than press releases but they are what actually shifts the economics of the region.
Gujarat launched the Viksit Gujarat Data Centre Policy 2026-29 on 9 July 2026, naming Dholera SIR the state's primary data centre location, with a 2.5 percent capital subsidy confined to Dholera projects.
