This page explains who writes Dholera SIR News, what it covers, and why you should treat it differently from the other Dholera pages you will find.
Dholera SIR News is an independent record of the Dholera Special Investment Region in Gujarat. A Special Investment Region is a large industrial zone with its own planning authority, created under a Gujarat law passed in 2009. Dholera is the biggest site in the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, the national programme building industrial cities along the route between the two cities.
The site exists because almost every page on the internet that says "Dholera news" was written by somebody selling land there. Their facts are often fine. The problem is that you cannot tell which ones are, and making you feel that you are late is part of how they earn. We sell nothing, we list no plots, and we make no money from anything you buy, so we have no reason to make anything sound more finished than it is.
What we cover is the airport, the Tata Electronics chip factory and the suppliers gathering around it, the expressway and the rail line, the solar park and the utilities under the city, government policy, and company investment. Each of those gets a dated entry with its source attached. What we will not publish is plot prices, predictions about how much land will be worth, ratings of builders, or anything we cannot point at a source for.
The site is written and maintained by the Dholera SIR News Desk. If we have a fact wrong, write to editor@dholerasir.news with a source. We will correct the entry, and we will say on the page that it was corrected rather than quietly changing it.
