Jabil signs MoU for a Rs 1,000 crore electronics manufacturing unit at Dholera
Jabil signed a memorandum of understanding with the Gujarat government on 14 November 2024 to set up an electronics manufacturing services unit at Dholera with about Rs 1,000 crore of investment, operations expected by 2027 and around 5,000 jobs projected.
The unit is slated to serve networking, capital goods, automotive and allied industries. Jabil is one of the world's largest EMS companies, and its commitment was an early third-party validation of the electronics cluster forming around the Tata fab.
